Copilot

Copilot is graph8’s built-in AI assistant. Ask questions in natural language and Copilot searches your CRM, looks up contacts, checks deal status, manages sequences, runs web searches, and navigates the app - all from a chat sidebar.

Opening Copilot

Click the Copilot icon in the top navigation bar to open the chat sidebar. Copilot is available from any page in graph8.

Chat Modes

Copilot operates in five modes, each optimized for different tasks:

Toggle Web Search on to include live internet results in Copilot responses. Enable Thinking Mode for complex, multi-step reasoning.

Context Modes

Copilot runs in one of five context modes. It switches automatically based on the page you’re on, or you can toggle manually:

Each mode unlocks different tools. For example, sequence step editing is only available in Sequencer mode, while deal creation is available in Deals and General modes.

Copilot uses built-in tools to take actions on your behalf:

Approval Gates

Some actions require your confirmation before Copilot executes them:

When approval is needed, Copilot shows a confirmation dialog. Click Approve to proceed or Cancel to stop.

Copilot Memory

Copilot remembers context across your conversations. As you interact, it builds memory at four levels:

You don’t need to repeat instructions - Copilot uses past context to provide more relevant responses over time.

@Mentions and Collaboration

Type @ followed by a team member’s name to mention them in a Copilot conversation. Mentioned users receive a notification and can join the session.

Share chat sessions with your team for collaborative planning and strategy discussions.

Credits

Each Copilot interaction consumes credits. Credit cost depends on the complexity of the action:

  • Simple lookup - 1 credit
  • Web search - additional credits per search query
  • Multi-step actions - credits scale with the number of tools used

Check your credit usage in Settings → Billing → Usage.

Chat History and Sessions

All conversations are saved automatically. Manage your sessions:

  • Pin important conversations so they stay at the top of your history
  • Rename sessions for easy identification later
  • Delete sessions you no longer need
  • Restore previous sessions to continue where you left off

Response Controls

For each Copilot response, you can:

  • Thumbs up / down - rate the quality (helps improve future responses)
  • Regenerate - retry the last response for a different angle
  • Copy - copy the response text to your clipboard
