Managing Lists

Lists are how you organize prospects in graph8. Every search result you save, every CSV you upload, and every audience you build lives as a list.

Viewing Your Lists

Go to Data → Lists to see all your lists. Each list shows:

  • Name — descriptive label you assigned
  • Contact count — number of prospects in the list
  • Created date — when the list was created
  • Last updated — when contacts were last added or removed
  • Owner — team member who created the list

Filtering Contacts Within a List

Once inside a list, use column filters to segment and find specific contacts:

Filter TypeHow It Works
Text searchSearch by name, email, company, or title
Column filtersFilter any column — title contains “VP”, company size > 200, etc.
SortSort by any column ascending or descending
Saved viewsSave a filter combination as a reusable view

Filters are additive — each one narrows the results further.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple contacts (or all) in a list, then click Actions to:

ActionDescription
Add to SequenceEnroll selected contacts in an outreach sequence
Move to ListMove contacts to a different list
Copy to ListCopy contacts to another list (keeps them in both)
EnrichRun enrichment to fill in missing data
Update FieldSet a field value across all selected contacts (e.g., set Owner)
Email VerifyRun a fresh email verification pass on the selected contacts
ExportDownload selected contacts as CSV — includes all visible columns, including custom enrichment and AI columns
DeleteRemove contacts from the list

Apply to Filtered Subset

Bulk actions can target the filtered subset instead of the full list:

  • Apply column filters to narrow the visible contacts
  • Open Actions — you’ll see the option to apply to either Selected contacts or All filtered contacts (the full filtered set, even rows you haven’t loaded yet)
  • This works for Add to Sequence, Move/Copy, Enrich, Update Field, Email Verify, Export, and Delete

This is the safe way to bulk-act on large lists — for example, “enrich all VPs at companies with 200+ employees” without manually selecting thousands of rows.

Export Behavior

  • Exports include all visible columns in the grid, including custom enrichment and AI columns
  • Column headers use display names (not internal field IDs)
  • Hidden columns are not included in exports

Hide any columns you don’t need before exporting to control your output.

List Types

TypeDescription
Prospect listsStandard lists built from search results or imports
Suppression listsContacts to exclude from outreach (competitors, existing customers, opt-outs)
Dynamic listsAuto-updating lists based on filter criteria — contacts that match are added automatically

Picking Lists from Dropdowns

When adding contacts to a list (from prospecting, sequencer, or workflows), the list-picker dropdown supports infinite scroll. The picker loads more lists as you scroll, so orgs with hundreds of lists no longer hit a hard cap when picking the destination.

You can also type to search — the picker filters as you type and continues paginating through matching results.

Working With Suppression Lists

Suppression lists prevent contacts from being enrolled in sequences:

  1. Go to Data → Lists → New List
  2. Set the list type to Suppression
  3. Add contacts manually, via import, or by filter
  4. When creating a sequence, select suppression lists to exclude

Deleting Lists

When you delete a list, it is removed from all selection dropdowns across the platform.

Deleted lists will no longer appear when selecting lists for actions like routing, sequencing, or filtering.
