Audience Sync
Audience Sync pushes your graph8 contact lists directly to ad platforms - run targeted ads on Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and X using your existing prospect and customer data.

Connecting an Ad Platform
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Ad Platforms
- Click Connect next to the platform you want
- Complete the OAuth authorization flow
- Once connected, the platform shows a green Connected status
Syncing an Audience
- Go to any contact or company list in Data
- Click Sync to Ads (or find it in the list actions menu)
- Select the target platform (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, X)
- Choose the audience name on the platform (or create a new one)
- Click Sync
graph8 pushes the list’s email addresses and identifiers to the ad platform for matching. The platform matches against its own user base.
Sync Cadence
Audience sync runs automatically on a polling cadence:
- Initial sync - contacts pushed immediately on first sync
- Ongoing sync - contacts added or removed from the list are synced every 60 seconds
When contacts are added to or removed from the source list in graph8, those changes automatically propagate to the ad platform.

- Retarget website visitors - sync your visitor list to Meta for retargeting ads
- ABM campaigns - sync your target account list to LinkedIn for sponsored content
- Exclude existing customers - sync your customer list as an exclusion audience
- Lookalike audiences - push your best customers list, then build lookalikes on the platform
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| Platform not connecting | Ensure you have admin permissions on the ad platform account |
| Low match rates | Enrich contacts with work emails before syncing - personal emails match poorly on LinkedIn and Google |
| Sync not updating | Check that the source list is still active and the platform connection is healthy |
